Illinois 2024 Paid Time Off (PTO) Change
 

Starting January of 2024, Illinois has passed a new act changing how PTO is accrued. This change to paid time off has big implications for small business owners and employees, alike.

Under the new act, the majority of employees in Illinois can now look forward to enjoying a minimum of one week of paid leave. However, it's important to note that eligibility for this benefit is not guaranteed, as there are some exceptions.
